Ben has been a Solicitor across the full breadth of dispute resolution practice working both in private practice and in house for FTSE listed PLCs, working as a trusted advisor to both Claimants and Defendants. He began working in the law in 2006 and has had an exclusive dispute resolution practice since this point, aside from the prescribed non litigious training seats. His practice has covered Personal Injury and Disease, general Civil and Commercial Litigation / ADR, and Travel and Tourism Law. Most recently as a freelance advocate Ben has been on his feet almost every day around the north acting for claimants and defendants in a wide range of interim and final hearings.

Ben also sits as a Deputy District Judge on the North Eastern Circuit and was previously a Specialist Disability Qualified Member in the Social Entitlement Chamber of the First Tier Tribunal.
