The current court FDRs are limited to an hour, an hour and a half if you are lucky, split across the day, often with preparation done in the hour before the hearing.

Ben is an experienced Financial Remedies Judge, hearing both high value and Schedule 1 Children Act matters and offers a bespoke Private FDR Judge service for a fixed fee, for the full day. This service includes all reading and preparation in advance, as well as a full day to allow submissions and negotiations on discrete points and an indication. 


Parking, refreshments, comfortable surroundings, including private break out rooms can be provided at additional cost, or you can arrange facilites.

Up to 350 pages   £1000.00

350 - 750 pages  £1500.00

750 pages +  £2500.00


Travel is included with the fees quoted above if the Private FDR takes place in Leeds, Beverley, Hull, York, Doncaster or Sheffield. For Private FDRs in other locations please contact us for an expenses quote.


We carry PII with Markel in respect of this service with cover of £1 million per claim.
